An exam here is not a PDF you email back. It is timed, it saves as you go, and what it tells you afterwards points at the material rather than at a grade.
Timed, and it keeps your answers
A visible countdown, every answer saved as you go, and automatic submission when time runs out. Your teacher sets the duration, the pass mark, how many attempts, and whether questions and options are shuffled.
The explanation, not just the score
Each answer can carry an explanation — written, a voice note, a video, or a pointer to a clip from the lesson itself. Your teacher chooses whether it appears on submission or once the exam closes.
Sends you back to the exact place
The analysis shows accuracy by topic, the time you spent on each question, and where you stand against the cohort — then links each weak topic to the lecture second or book page that covers it.
There is no “mark as complete” button
Nothing is finished because someone declared it finished. It is finished because the work says so — which is why your meter and your teacher's roster read the same number.
A video
Complete when it genuinely ends, or once you have watched 90% of its distinct seconds. Leaving it playing does not count.
A book
Complete at the last page, with 80% of the distinct pages seen. A page has to stay on screen to count, so flicking through does not finish it.
An exam
Complete once an attempt has been submitted and closed.
Ask about the lecture, and get an answer that cites its minute
Every video lesson carries a question panel. Ask in your own words and the answer arrives with the passages from that lecture it was built on.
An answer with its source
Every answer carries the passages it came from, with their timestamps. Open a citation and the player jumps to that second.
It says when it does not know
If the lecture does not cover your question, the assistant says so plainly instead of inventing an answer.
Conversations that keep
Keep more than one conversation per lesson and come back to any of them later.
